Jody Threat defends the WPW Women’s Championship against The Matriarch at RUMBLE IN THE BURT 4!

The Wild Child lost the WPW Women’s Championship to Mercedes Moné at last year’s RUMBLE IN THE BURT and went on to win the inaugural Women’s Voyageur Cup Tournament to challenge and dethrone the CEO at FIGHT AT THE MUSEUM 4.

Since then, Threat has been on a tear, defending the title against some of Canada’s best.

Debuting in May 2025, The Matriarch has quickly become a fan favourite and mainstay in WPW. After teaming with Shotzi Blackheart and finally vanquishing Ava Lawless and Beaa Moss at last year’s RUMBLE IN THE BURT, Sage has gone on a four-match win streak and is undefeated in 2026.

The Matriarch enters RUMBLE IN THE BURT 4 as the #1 Contender and is looking to leave as WPW Women’s Champion, but she’ll have to defeat one of Canada’s greatest to do it.
